We left Iowa and headed West going through Nebraska.
We stopped here last time we came through. It has depictions of eras from Lewis & Clark till today.
So we just passed it up this trip.
I just took a picture of this water tower because I liked it. It looks like a circus in permanently in town!

We stopped at the worlds Largest Railroad yard.
You can go up in this tower to see all the trains in the yard. Yippee! Quite exciting! Not! I think Donald just did this for you Jimmy!

This view overlooks the rail yard where the out going trains are being prepared.
This one is the repair and maintenance shop.
I kinda liked the view of this maze that they were getting ready for the Halloween season. I would have to have someone up in the tower to guide me or I would never get out.
Then we got into some really terrible travel conditions. I did not like this at all.
Almost no visibility! Scary!
The next day we saw just a few of the trees starting to turn. I think fall is arriving.
We spent the night in North Platte, Nebraska and then on to Rawlins, Wyoming. Did nothing interesting here or our next stop Springville, Utah which is just out of Provo.
On Sunday Oct. 4th we tried to stay in St. George, Utah but all the parks were full so we continued across the border to Mesquite, Nevada. This whole trip has been difficult finding parks that had spaces open especially for a MH our size.
The Solstice Motorcoach RV Resort in Mesquite was very nice with beautiful views.

It is not finished yet but when it is it's going to be really nice.
We took a ride back to St. George in the car.
I loved going through this Gorge even though there was road work going on.
And of course I loved this view too!! Getting back to the West!

There are Pioneer names written up inside this cave. Donald got as close to it as he could to take pictures.
It was a little chilly so I stayed in the car & took pictures of him. He looks so proud!
We drove through it. It's not a really big park but very beautiful.
I thought it looked more like a Pharaoh.
There were really lots of cool formations.
I'm really glad we went back to St. George to check it out.
We have been having a problem with the fuel tank spewing over when he fills it so we had an appt. in Las Vegas to have them take a look. I think he felt a little left out with all the attention Richie's MH has been getting. :)
So we spent the night just outside the Freightliner garage....
right next to the trains...
We ran the generator all night for air conditioning so it wasn't too noisy. The next morning they fixed one side of the tank. But to fix the other side they would have to take the whole tank out. So we decided to try it out to make sure it works before attempting the fix on the other side. Freightliner also decided it was a Newmar problem not theirs so now Donald gets to try and get our $300 back from them.. Good Luck!
Our next stop was Las Vegas!
My Favorite city!
And I love to go check out the Conservatory at the Bellagio.
It is decorated for every season.
It was all very Beautiful!
The way they carved these pumpkins was amazing!
Loved this one!
We had lunch at Jimmy Buffets on the strip like we usually do. We had a lot of fun walking around and checking out the people.Had our picture taken with $1,000,000.00. The picture was free but unfortunately no free samples. :(
This cupcake ATM was a first for me! But no, I did not get one!
And this picture is just for Piper! Gramma with Olaf!
We ate way too many buffets but ...
the best part... a really bad selfie of Kath & me with our $800.00 voucher that we won on a really shiny slot machine!!!
That was the MOST FUN of all! :)
Then we headed to our Winter home in Mesa, Arizona.
Well, we left home on July 6 and got to Mesa on October 14th.
That was 100 days on the road.
We covered 7924 miles.
Stayed in 37 campgrounds that averaged $32.94 a day.
Put 941.07 gallons of diesel in the MH & averaged $2.67 gal.
& about 8.3 miles to the gallon.
We had a Great Adventure and saw lots of beautiful & some not so beautiful country & had a lot of fun with Rich & Tammy and all our other friends that we visited along the way!
Well I guess this is home for awhile
since it's the only one we've got!
Not too many neighbors yet but I'm sure they will start arriving soon. Now we have to get down to the hard business of golfing, shuffle boarding, dancing, & partying for the rest of the Winter.
Well, if we don't do it who will? :-)
Thanks for Traveling with the Greensides!
